PDO Threading / Threadlift

Founded in Korea (the esthetic capital of the world) PDO threading/The PDO threat lift (A.K.A. the “non-surgical facelift”): is a wonderful non-surgical option filling a much needed void in esthetic medicine. The threads, made of Polydioxanone (PDO) have been used for over 30 years in the United States safely and effectively in multiple fields of surgery. PDO threading has been performed in the United States since 2015, in parts of Europe for almost 10 years, and in Asia for almost two decades.

Dr. Gill was one of the first clinicians to get trained and certified to perform this cutting edge procedure as she believed there was nothing else on the market that targeted certain areas of the face, neck, and body effectively. She started performing this treatment in the United States back in 2015 and has proven that this non surgical treatment leads to natural looking results creating a more youthful appearance as the skyn is lifted and tightened.

EXAMPLE OF THREAD PLACEMENT

PDO is a synthetic suture (made of a strong monofilament) that is naturally absorbed by the body at approximately 4-6 months literally leaving collagen in its place. The PDO threads are placed under the skyn which in turn creates a lifting and tightening at around 2-3 months. Its stimulates your bodies own collagen creating natural looking results. The skyn becomes more taught and lifted without looking “overdone.” This FDA cleared suture/thread is approved in medical esthetic facial and body rejuvenation. PDO builds more collagen and elastin then any other treatment on the market to date. Results can take up to 40-60 days for best results which means you are literally looking younger gradually each day.

Prior to your treatment, Dr. Gill will customize a PDO treatment plan that will help you to achieve your desired results. PDO will leave you with a more youthful appearance literally.
